A business and professional community service club serving Butler County  




The first Altrusa Club was organized in Nashville, Tennessee on April 11, 1917.  Altrusa became international on June 30, 1935 when the first Club was chartered in Mexico.  Altrusa was the first organization of business and professional women. 

The purpose of Altrusa International, Inc. is to promote better communities through service by an international network of people with diverse backgrounds and experiences.

The Altrusa International of Hamilton was organized on February 22, 1923 by the Altrusa International of Dayton, Ohio.
